Pueblo, Conciencia, Guerra Revolucionaria: la estrategia político-militar en el periodo fundacional del MIR (1965-1970)
PUEBLO, CONCIENCIA, GUERRA REVOLUCIONARIA: APROXIMACIONES AL PROBLEMA DE LA ESTRATEGIA POLÍTICO-MILITAR EN EL PERIODO FUNDACIONAL DEL MOVIMIENTO DE IZQUIERDA REVOLUCIONARIA, MIR DE CHILE (1965-1970)

RESUMEN: El 15 de agosto de 1965 se funda el Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR) de Chile, organización iniciadora en el diseño e implementación de una estrategia para la toma del poder y la revolución socialista. Este trabajo busca hacer una descripción de las estrategias asumidas por el MIR desde su I Congreso (1965), remontándonos a las organizaciones y corrientes fundadoras, hasta el inicio del gobierno de Salvador Allende (1970). Mostraremos las diversas visiones respecto a la estrategia políticomilitar (llamada Guerra Revolucionaria) que debía asumir la organización para realizar la revolución socialista. Para cumplir nuestro objetivo, utilizaremos bibliografía específica, junto a documentos internos y públicos del
MIR.

ABSTRACT: The August 15, 1965 the Revolutionary Left Movement (MIR) of Chile, initiating organization in the design and implementation of a strategy for taking power and the socialist revolution is founded. This paper seeks to make a description of the strategies undertaken by the MIR since its first congress (1965), going back to the founding organizations and currents
until the beginning of the government of Salvador Allende (1970). We show the different views regarding the political-military strategy (called Revolutionary War) that would take the organization to carry out the socialist revolution. To meet our goal, we will use specific literature, along with MIR internal and public documents.
